Summer Tour 2007 - Italy
The summer tour of 2007 is going ahead with a sufficient number of players from the Cheshire Youth Orchestra expressing their desire to go to Italy. The orchestra and their musical director Laura Jellicoe will travel to Italy and perform at various locations.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the Cheshire Youth Orchestra, and the Friends of Cheshire Youth Orchestra intend to support the tour to the best of their ability. Our aim is to try and subsidise the cost of the trip for parents and to this end we hope to run a number of fund raising events throughout the year.
If you want to find out more about how you can help with the fundraising or have some suggestions about fund raising ideas, please get in touch. We would like to hear from parents or friends who may work for one of the major banks, in order to utilise the "matched" fund raising that some of them offer.
