Friends of Cheshire Youth Orchestra is comprised mainly of orchestra members' parents but welcomes all offers of help no matter how small. Friends of CYO give practical help with rehearsal and concert arrangements, fundraising, publicity and PR.

The "Friends" work in partnership with members of staff from Cheshire County Council and hold regular meetings to help develop both orchestras. Recent developments include planning at least four major concerts for the period 2006-2007. It is anticipated that these performances will be held within Cheshire however we are looking for opportunities to perform throughout the United Kingddom.

We are currently looking for a major sponsor to support both the Cheshire Youth Orchestra and the Cheshire Youth Training Orchestra. The orchestras comprise of talented musicians and would offer the opportunity to be associated with the development of its young players. The orchestra would welcome the opportunity to work with a partner to help us embark on the next phase of its development.
